What is our objective?

“I am not ashamed of the Gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes…” - Romans 1:16

Our overriding objective is unashamedly the promotion of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe in the innate power of the gospel to not only bring salvation into the lives of the people that we work with, but also to set them free from their slavery to drink, drugs and other dependent behaviour. Making them, instead, slaves to righteousness.

Who has the trust been set up for?

"As the Scriptures say: 'There is no one who is righteous, no one who is wise or who worships God. All have turned away from God; they have all gone wrong; no one does what is right, not even one.'" - Romans 3:10-12

The trust has been set up to reach broken people with the love of God in Christ.

What does Chanan mean?

"Then Esau looked up and saw the women and children. "Who are these with you?” he asked. Jacob answered; these are the children God has graciously given your servant.” - Genesis 33:5

Chanan is a Hebrew word meaning God has been Gracious. Hugh chose this word because of God's gracious dealing in his own life.
